It’s a beautiful day and you’re out for a walk.

The sky is blue, the grass is green, and the bees are humming.

All’s right with the world. Or is it?

Don’t look up!

You’ve ignored me! I can see you’re starting to tilt your head.

Your eyes look heavenward.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

The sound of birdsong. The whirr of wings. And. ..

Bullseye!

Right in your eye.

Eww!!!! Birdsh*t.

On the bright side, it could have been worse. Here’s a little poem explaining what could have happened, written by that famous writer Anon.

Little Birdie flying high
dropped a message from the sky.
Said the farmer with a sigh
“Aren’t I glad my cows can’t fly!”
